ADPAN’S 2022 WORLD DAY AGAINST THE DEATH PENALTY: JOURNEY TO DEATH ROW

In commemoration of the World Day Against the Death Penalty commemorated on 10th October annually, we are pleased to invite you to the “ADPAN’s 2022 World Day Against The Death Penalty: Journey to Death Row” art exhibition event organized by the Anti-Death Penalty Asia Network (ADPAN) in collaboration with the ACT4CAT Coalition, as per details below:

Date    : 14 – 16 October 2022 (Friday – Sunday)

Time    : 10.00am – 5.00pm

Venue : Block B, Level 2 Kedai KL, Mahsa Avenue, Jalan Ilmu, Kuala Lumpur

The objective of this event is to raise public awareness through a death row inmate’s perspective using arts and storytelling, and to provide opportunities for abolitionist stakeholders to engage with the public to better understand key concerns and points of contention surrounding the death penalty abolishment. The three-days event will feature activities such as:

• Artworks exhibition;
• Interactive booths by the ACT4CAT Coalition partners;
• Workshops, forums and conversations through stage presentations;
• Session with ADUN Bukit Tunku, YB Lim Yi Wei
