Youth

Since 2016, SUHAKAM had engaged with youth through its ‘Youth 4 Rights’ programme which comes in the form of talks, lectures and camps with the key aim of empowering them to promote and protect human rights in the country.

Through this programme, SUHAKAM reaches out to young people from the local universities, colleges as well as youth-related associations and Malaysian Youth Parliament.

The ‘Youth4Rights’ camp in particular serves to empower student leaders from colleges and universities towards asserting young people’s human rights more effectively.
