SUHAKAM, together with the CERAH Coalition, is organising a haze pollution roundtable:

This will be a landmark discussion, with experts across multiple disciplines and stakeholders from all relevant sectors. The 2-day roundtable will cover the causes and impacts of haze, the systemic gaps and potential recommendations for SUHAKAM to make to the government.

We will consider recommendations on the themes of:
a. strengthening the recognition of environmental rights
b. strengthening air quality governance
c. strengthening transboundary haze pollution governance
d. strengthening Business & Human Rights
